E215 Five Years Later with Carol Vernam
Her near-death experience story… the update
Do you take notice of the anniversaries of significant days? I do.
My brain holds onto those dates, and won’t let go. Divorce decrees, deaths, disasters, first days on a job. Good, bad, it is always interesting to reflect back, mark the occasion, take some time to reflect on the changes since then, think to yourself, wow, what if? What if that hadn’t happened, what if that happened today? How would things be different?
In just a few weeks, I’ll be celebrating the 5th anniversary of launching this very podcast, one of THE BEST decisions I’ve ever made. As I’m preparing my tweaks and pivots for Experience 50 in the coming months, I’ve been listening to some of the very early episodes. One that really stood out is episode #003 The Big Storm with Carol Vernam, recorded exactly five years ago today, prior to Experience 50s official launch date.
In this podcast, I’m going to share with you a condensed version of that original episode, which remains one of my top 5 favorite podcast episodes out of the more than 200.
Almost dying
Then, from the studio, Carol speaks with me about her anniversary of almost dying. I’m so glad she didn’t.
