E149 I Want What She’s Got with Anxiety Expert Stephanie Dalfonzo
Passing a tennis ball from one hand to the other is just one technique proven to calm an anxious mind. Really? This and other science-backed techniques are the gifts of Stephanie Dalfonzo’s new book, Goodbye Anxiety, Hello Freedom: How To Build Resilience and Overcome Anxiety.
Stephanie Dalfonzo had experienced “buzzing” throughout her life. In this episode, she describes how her morning radio career came to an end when, at 35, her anxiety came crashing down and she was forced to give her energies to raising small children and getting her “buzz” under control.
Now at 59, Stephanie has found her state of chill, inspiring others to say “I want what she’s got.’ But the chill doesn’t happen overnight. Over the last 20 years, she has developed a successful hypnosis practice, become a certified yoga instructor, and has become a recognized expert in the field. Her book outlines 35 simple tools for calming down. You can receive her free download, Five Easy Ways to Calm Down.
Stephanie empowers women to say, “Goodbye Anxiety, Hello Freedom!” She has been speaking on the radio and on stages since the 1980s. Her first career was as “Stevie Knox,” a popular radio DJ. After her last radio job, her anxiety kicked into overdrive and into full-blown insomnia. She began researching holistic approaches to anxiety. Over 20 years later, Stephanie is an Anxiety Expert, Speaker, Author, Clinical Hypnotist and more. Sharing inspirational empowerment with simple action steps, she has freed thousands of people, from tweens to 82, from their anxiety, stress, and fears.
